But back to the point, and the point is: RV2 rode his cojones off in Seattle, and was able to pressure his old rival Mike Alessi into a mistake while leading the main and put a gap on Davi Millsaps to remain in the lead. Despite knowing that Stewart was coming on fast, Ryan rode mistake-free on a track absolutely riddled with land mines waiting to take him down. He put down lap after lap that was equal to or faster than what Stewart was doing, and that's what got him to the line first. By the way, this was Ryan's first race back from an illness that first started affecting him in Indy but that really hit home several weeks ago in New Orleans.
