Stewart, shown here just a moment after passing Reed in the previous corner, was looking to run away but it was not to be. He'd had a couple of nasty crashes by this point in the evening already, and was clearly having a little trouble with the track and staying off the ground. Reed did what Reed does: matched his pace and waited for the race to come to him. It happened on lap 14 when he fell on the upside of the over/under tunnel.
