Travis was looking to move into a qualifying position in the LCQ (after narrowly missing it in his heat race), but came together with Jake Marsack and damaged the radiator on his Cernic's Suzuki. As visibly exhausted as he was upset about his misfortune, Travis gave his classic "Dun, oh well" look to the crowd and cameras and walked off the track. He was a great addition to the show, that much is for sure.

Well, Reedy did it again. The defending champ has built a career based on capitalizing upon the mistakes of Stewart (and Carmichael), and it's worked because he's the only one fast enough to be close enough to Stewart's speed to do so. Chad pounced on James' mistake late in the race to rocket into the lead and the win, his 3rd of the season. He's now got that 11 point lead heading into Toronto next weekend.

Lawrence worked his way past Alessi, Grant and Voss in his heat to nab 2nd behind Reed. He then rode a steady main event after getting a good start, and ended up 5th.

Stewart, shown here just a moment after passing Reed in the previous corner, was looking to run away but it was not to be. He'd had a couple of nasty crashes by this point in the evening already, and was clearly having a little trouble with the track and staying off the ground. Reed did what Reed does: matched his pace and waited for the race to come to him. It happened on lap 14 when he fell on the upside of the over/under tunnel.

Points leader Chris Pourcel is struggling a bit with illness related to the injury he sustained a couple of years ago. He's toughing it out to try and maintain his championship points lead, and went from last to 5th in the main event.

Stroupe-Loop got a good start in the main, but Blake Wharton was just too fast to make time on. He did manage to run down a fading Izzi and pressure him into a mistake, where he was able to get by and claim 2nd. He was clearly upset with his performance after the race, but maybe he shouldn't be, because Wharton was riding on rails with a clear track for the entire race.

Stroupe rounds the first turn first and was able to stay ahead of the pack to pull off the win. In the main, interestingly enough, the exact same riders (Stroupe, Izzi and Wharton) inverted their results to go 1-2-3 in the main.

Alessi and Tedesco battled for the 6th spot for a while, with IT eventually getting the upper-hand. When the checkers flew, these two had remained in the 6th and 7th spot for the duration.

Classic Pastrana-style thru the whoops proved good enough in this case to get past Kyle Chisholm in the LCQ, but didn't help him on the next lap when Marsack retaliated and the two came together, resulting in a busted-up radiator and DNF/DNQ for the night.

Factory Kaw Temp Billy Laninovich made the main event, which is no small feat these days. He was stoked to be there, but would probably have preferred a better finish than 18th, but the team was delighted just to have a factory Kawi in the main event.

Stewart holeshot his heat and looked to be ready to check out. It was not to be, though, as he proceeded to fall twice, once hard on the double dragonback. He qualified 9th.

Reedy, on the other hand, holeshot his heat and walked away. The interesting story here was how Lawrence made quick work of both Alessi and Josh Grant to nab a strong second place.

Not much to see here, other than roost and the fact that Stewart was forced way outside of his typical inside starting position due to his 9th place position in his heat.

Kdub may have only mustered a 9th in the main, but his killer stoppie in the opening ceremonies and a heat race win made up for it (almost). There was no question, though, that the STL crowd have had a long-standing love affair with Windham.

Once again, Hepler went from podium material to pack-fill. This is not a cut on BHep, though, it's more a testament to the fact that the 450 class this season has a slew of guys that are capable of hitting the podium every weekend.
