Mitch Payton mentioned that both of his guys (Morais and Weimer) were faster now than they were before the break. Unfortunately for them, Dungey is too, and the whole front group seems to have stepped it up a notch during the break. Assuming they've been doing a ton of outdoor testing, it's no doubt at least partially due to increased fitness, although Morais revealed in a post-race interview that he'd been working on his early race sprint pace to help even him out with the rest of the front pack.
