He clearly rides his butt off every weekend, yet he can't seem to find the podium. He's just this much slower than the guys that are. It is nice and a bit unusual, though, to have him this healthy and fit this late into a supercross season. It was a huge result for Matt, who's been trying to regain last year's late-season speed and finally may have found it.
