As racer in the lites class i agree with what your thinking. I miss the 2 stroke and how close it kept everyone.....made for better racing and you had to be a real true talented hard working rider to hustle a 125 around. Lets face it 4 strokes are more expensive and to make them competitive to race is even more, versus a 2 stroke you could make a 2 stroke competitive for a next to nothing. All 4 stokes did was make it nearly impossible for a privateer to compete "equipment" wise in the lites class. Lets be real unless your on Factory supported equipment "motors" your not breaking top 10. And the likes of a privateer affording or getting factory motors is not looking so good. Four strokes just made it harder for a privateer to compete against the factory teams and their money, as if it wasn't hard enough. Lets go back to 2 stroke racing and make the sport fun again.

I agree the new 4 stroke 250f's are much easier to ride than the 125's and that makes RV go faster. But all of his competition has the same advantage that he does, so how can you take anything away from him when comparing to Glover, Barnett, and Carmichael? His bike may be easier to ride fast but his competition has that same advantage.
