Bubba on a 450F ?

I've heard that Stewart will be on a 450f for outdoor nationals. I would doubt if its true, but does anyone know details

Yea, I doubt it! Hes always been on a 2-stroke, except for one race while he was on a KXF250, but I doubt he will ride a 4-stroke. I think hes trying to keep the 2-strokes alive! At least I hope so!

Stewart ride a 450, highly doubtful. Not being racist, but James Stewart is black and hes gotta keep the 2 strokes alive. 99% of the pro racers are not black. Go Stewart! 2-Stroke Faith. I don't care if 450s are supposedly faster in the outdoors. Bubba is going to scrub everything and anything no matter if he is on a 450 or 250. Keeping it alive, James Stewart.

There is a kid who i always see at the races....a pure Bubba replica..lol.....kx250f, chevy graphics, 2003 all bubba replica gear from boots to helmet, and he is black and races 125 B. I thought it was cool Ive been hearing it was said in an interview he was riding the 4 stroke 2..guess we wont know till the first race.

Decoster doesn't give him the choice, the honcho's sitting in Corporate Suzuki land gave him the choice. Decoster's basically the go-between, not to disrespect Decoster in ANY way though, I respect him for everything he's done incredibly.

I hope Bubba stays pure. His one ride on a four-stroke 250f didn't impress me much. He was still faster than the entire field. But no more so that on his 125. -Steve

Is this refering to this years nationals? Kawisaki doesn't even make a 450 so if he does ride on one it will be a one time deal because of the pre prodution rule. So that means he will be ridding a 250. I believe that I am right.

^^^^^Not right. Kawasaki and Suzuki have the same four-stroke 450. I'm guessing, if they have sorted out the teething pains from the last couple seasons, we'll be seeing RC and Bubba both on thumpers out-doors this year.

Saw that too, however they build the factory riders factory 250's and 450's to ride so it may not be even the EXACT bike he'll be riding. Don't get me wrong, I'm believing he will ride a thumper as well (sadly) however, the choice is still there. Personally I think Ricky's smoothest season was 2002 outdoor season on his CR250.

Do you have any proof that they are, I recall hearing that they weren't joint projects. Kawisaki doesn't even say that they have a 450 the the website. You are refering to the 05 season/bikes aren't you?

Suzuki and Kawasaki share kid's bikes (up to 100cc) and off-road fourstrokes. Little RMs and KXs, and RMZs and KXFs are exactly the same except for color

they have the same 250f not 450f. i think they also share the 65cc, 100cc, drz110, rmz250f. I think that is all that they share. There 85's are not the same, but they share alot of bikes. The RMz/kxf 250 was mostly kawasaki's design. Suzuki just gave them the motor plans.

It's been a while since I read the press-release, but I could swear that it said that Suzuki didn't have a full line of kid's bikes, and Kawasaki didn't have high performance off-road four-strokes, so they made a technology trade. I guess I just assumed it was all inclusive. That means a pinger could win the National Championship. COOL!

i hope stewart wins. this way i can say " Boo Yaa" to all the thumper riders at the track... :lol: If RC was smart he would ride a 2-stroke! i hope he does but i don't think he will.

I've heard rumors that the "BIG FOUR" factories have 250 two-strokes that have close to 60 hp, and weigh under 200 lbs. If it's true, the four-stroke revolution is officially over!

You know they have too...it's just weather tehy want to let poeple know they have them... that would sink the 4-stroke ship for the pros and you know most would go back to the 2-stroke (we can only hope :wink: )

Actually Brendan, historically it's proven that championships and individual riders winning don't sell bikes. It's tests and word-of mouth that sells the most.

C what i heard on " Wind Tunnel" was that Bubba was going to be on the new kxf 450. I believe that he said that he was but i could be wrong

i havent seen them nor heard of them yet, but that would be sick heck, even with tech bolts all titainum stuff (takes 2000$ to deck out a bike with ti hardware, saves 9-10lbs)

met/tec has a kit with just front/rear/subframe axles, they say it takes 2.5 lbs off the bike. Along with the rest of there hardware, like you said adam, you can shave 9lbs off the bike easy. I think some manufactures might even have Ti subframes and what-not. Amagine how much weight a Ti subframe would shave. Along with a carbon fiber silencer like the one RC an Reed have, Mag Triple clamps, Ti head stem, hubs, and who knows what they do to the motors...thats like 15lbs worth of savings.

Ah yes, it's really too bad (yet I agree with it kinda) that the stupid AMA made TRUE works bikes illeagal back in 85'. Also, Brian, I doubt motors will ever be made out of complete Ti, Ti weaken significantly once applied with heat, engines would be toast in my opinion.
