Damn gas is gettin real high. Its $2.30 in most places. My truck only gets bout 16mpg. It a killer. I may have to sell it(ram 1500) and get something smaller like an S10 or something. What is it where you live?

Check the mileage on an S10 before you get it. I don't think it will be much better than what you have now. Maybe 2-3 more MPG? I vaguely remember someone posting on the old forum asking for tips on how to improve gas mileage on his S10. I think if you really want better mileage, you might have to get a car of some sort.

Here it's about $2.30 a gallon for 87 octane. The news keeps saying it's supposed to get to $3.00 a gallon some places in Southern California!
I'll have to invest in a bicycle....or a moped!

87 octane is over $2.50 everywhere around here(So. Cal.), up to $2.70 in places.
I was in Az. this weekend, and it was about $2.30!!!
Why is Cali getting screwed?!?!

More people in Cali. When the demand is higher, so are the prices. Man, dont you guys remember the good ole days when gas was like $1.20 for a gallon? Then we always used to complain if it got any higher then $1.50.
