Well the last couple rides my clutch has been acting up when it gets really warm and toward the end of the day.

Once it gets warm it starts slipping and when i go to gas it, it feels like a friend the plates but before it gets all hot and stuff it works fine. The plates are like 4 rides old.

I didnt get to do the triple for the first time today b/c of it.

It was really bad today. It doesnt feel like the clutch it pulled in but sorta. I cant explain. It started like after i get going and really gas it, it feels sorta like the wheel is just spinning w/ no traction. I dont get it and i cant explain it. Almost like the feel of when you fry the plates.

Sorry im not good at explaining things too well but i hope you get it. Someone help me.

Funny cuz, I was haveing mad clutch problems today too same problem as you, its just slipping and not giving me any power. I dont know, Im going to replace the springs and plates and see what that does and the cable. Also I had a weird thing happen today. I was coming out of a turn and shifing from 2nd to 3rd, and my bike I guess hit a flase neutral on the face of the jump. I went mad nose low and cased it and hit my throat on the handlebar. It hurts to swallow and talk, but other than that I had a good day, riding good, I was just slightly slower than a mid pack B rider. I felt good and was cornering great, and doubling through the new whoops section , really fun day. Where is this track you have been going to Bryan? how is the terrain? Triples, How far are they, I would probaly double and then single cuz Im not a good big air guy.

I work the clutch so much. Im a heavy guy so I need that thing to pull me. Im constantly working that thing. I dont know whats wrong.

Brad the track is almost 3 hours south west a little down in Clayton, NA. Love the terrain. Couple real hard spots but the a sand spots and the rest is red clay. One of the triples was just added to a double today so i dont know how far it is. I would say the other one is about 70 ft. or sumthin. A bit longer than those first 2 tables at Currituck. PM me about riding and stuff. It would be fun to ride together sometime. in the PM tell me were you have been practicing.

Very fun track.

you just may be very hard on stuff, im on my 2nd clutch in my cr125 now, i went through a steel, and now my alum oem clutch is starting to grab, but the basket is also probabaly going (and its new as well)

and what clutch is it? alun stell, ebc oem?

dont buy alum, i highly highly reccomend you get dirt digger clutch, stainless steel plates, great friction discs

but take it apart and with a micro meter check them

and to stop this from happening, consider a gear change, to you have to clutch less, tune the powervalve for more lowend,

and try to use the clutch less,

the best thing todo tho, new clutch, and dont even ride it, sell it, ebay, whatever it takes, get your new bike

Change your oil.

The BelRay 75wt doesn't like steel plates. Switch to Maxima MTL-R. Heck even ATF-F will be better.

Bleed your clutch master cylinder. ANY air in there will do exactly what you describe. Best way is to reverse bleed it by forcing fresh fluid up through the bottom.

so i should just bleed the clutch master cylinder and change the oil w/ the maxima stuff. Is that why it only does it when its good and hot after riding.
