Being that I was there too, I was impressed by him. Reed was faster and so was number 4, but look how windham fell off after only a few laps of battling. Hes fast no doubt he just needs to get it all together.

I can't believe someone would even write that Bubba is a joke. He may be young and have a few issues, but I wouldn't label anyone a joke that can hang with the likes of Reed and Windham. RC is just the complete package with talent, commitment, training, and respect for everyone on the track. Bubba will come around or go the Pastrana route . MX and hard work isn't for everyone.

there is no joke about bubba ne is one bad mf. windham tried him and got roosted and then just fell back like 30 seconds and he held 3rd both motos that's no joke to me he is fast it's his first year learning experience. and i know you were there but on the live lap time report his lap times were close and the same as cr's and rc but i didn't watch it but it wil be televised saturday. by the way i'm a loyal rc fan but you can't deny talent

3rd overall in a 250 national is hardly a joke.

I think eventually Bubba will reign champ but right now RC is just plain too fast.

This might have been the spark Bubba needed to light his fire. I am sure he is figuring it out what it is going to take to run with these guys. Kawasaki is no slouch either, they are going to be trying to get him in shape.

I think look for some great battles to come with Bubba, Reed, Windam... but Ricky is too fast yet.

oh wait i said 3rd both motos i meen 3rd overall and he was 2nd in the first which makes him look even better. and i know cr was catching him but i think bubba thought he was a little further ahead then what he was and just dropped the pace a little to much

The only thing that's a joke about Bubba is his mouth,if he'd learn to shut that & get to the racin on the track it would be energy well spent. There is no way I'm a fan but I give him credit for bein fast, that's it though. He's no champion,he doesn't deserve it. All that crap he gave Allessi & he's no different. If that ain't the kettle callin the pot black!!!!

I agree wit crom. This might help bubba get more serious about racing. Like Bubba said, he is getting more and more comfortable bout motocross.. I really, Really think he is wasting a lot of time on the kx250, He needs to jump on that kx450f right away and train very hard, and i could almost promise he'll give RC a hell of a race!!!

i don't know i kind of disagree with the whole 2 stroke 4 stroke thing because when everyone else had already switched in the previous years rc was still checking out than he got on a 4stroke and done the same thing and in 125 when everyone else switched at first by choice bubba straight up dominated with a kx125 i think he just has to step it up and race but i think bubba will definitely shine in supercross this year and maybe he does need a four stroke but i don't think the difference will be all that big seeing that the biggest four and 2 stroke differences seem to be the 125 and bubba dominated for a long while on a 2 stroke

Bubba had a good race and he is extremely talented, but the conditions were mild that day. He has had problems with keeping that pace and heat. Hangtown and Southwick were both hot and physical. He has done well running the pace when the temperature was much cooler. Red Bud is typically around 100 degrees, we will see if he is in shape. So far every other race he has done bad, means Red Bud is due for a drop-off. Also, on the @livewire on moto two his lap times were 4th fastest.

well i think it dose have a difference, i think you have to look at the competition he had in the 125 class and the competion he has now,i t much more stiff.think he should swtich ASAP.

budd's creek was my first ever outdoor national...what a awe inspiring beautiful track.....my two cents...bubba is very talented and fast, but as decoster has said a number of times , ricky is the man and will stay the man as long as he wants.....ricky ate that track up and simply dominted budda and the rest of the field....he opened up an ever increasing gap every lap and was coasting at the end in both motos...he looked like he was floating over that track...almost effortless...i do think budda ought to get on a 4 stroke for the nationals...at budd's creek, there were at lot of up hill climbs, and turning and jumping being almost equal between the two, i felt the climbs helped rc open up the gaps...particulary, one climb on the backside of the track with a long up hill jump at the end...it seemed ricky would gain a lot of time up that hill always clearing the long double whereas bubba struggled to clear it occasionaly...and it seemed that way in general for all of the thumpers vs 2 strokes....i'd like to see him on a thumper because at this point he doesn't look like he can run with rc outdoors and i want to see a better race and not a "how i ride budd's creek video" starring rc.....about his conditioning, he always seems to run slower in the second half of the second moto if he runs at all... i would encourage anyone whom wants to see a race to get up to budd's creek next year...great track, great fans, and some good racing
