Well a person I know, fairly good friends, not the best (no reasons) though is being convicted of a rape. Here's the story.

Alrighty, a girl (16 years old) was in a relationship with another guy (same age) and has a past history of underage drinking, driving without a liscense, ect. She kept her relationship with 'Person X' a secret from the outer world and only her closer friends knew, though she is a very popular girl, danceteam, the whole deal.

So she has always had her eyes on my friend 'Person Z' for quite awhile and at a party she decided to make her move. SHE AND MY FRIEND had both had 1 beer and nothing more. After a few hours she went to him and told him to get in her car with him as her parents weren't home for the week (trip in Europe or something). He did, drove to her house, she told him she wanted to have protected sex, (He not knowing she had a boyfriend, nor did 85% of the school, ect) did so. So they had protected sex, life went on. She told 2 of her friends about the incident and sooner than later her boyfriend 'Perzon X' found out and got super mad and threatened to break up with her, ect. Now, 4 months later, she made a police claim that she had been raped by 'Person Z' and he had forced her to get into his car, and drove off to her house as he suppposedly knew her parents were not home, where he then forced the girl to drink alchohol.

Abit behind 'Person Z', popular kid, 3.3-3.6's in school, never truant, has had 1 conviction of a felony-1 speeding ticket. Liked by teachers-students alike, not agressive or controlling in any means.

Anyways, now 1 trial has gone by and he is convicted for rape while under the influence of alchohol and could be put in jail for 6 months, probation for another 8 months, and of course, the incident be put on his permanant record.

So, what's your views?

Mine is that it's complete BS and the girl should be fined for lying to the authorities, making false claims, and pay any amount of money that the family of the boy had lost during the trials.

Yeah it is. I can see your skepticism as I am slight friend with him but that's the way the entire story was. I mean in the end effect it's not even effecting me in any way but just something that irks me.

The bad thing in this world, is if anything involves a girl and guy, the guy gets in trouble no matter what. Thats just the way it goes, life is unfair for us.

I think its the girls fault, the guy didn't force her to do anything, thats just freaking high school drinking and sleeping around (even though its not right by anymeans), and the fact that he has a fellony doesn't help him out, heck i almost got a fellony for fish tailing out the the school parking lot, but was let off with exhibition driving. I think its her fault she was greedy and now she realizes her dumb mistake of cheating on her boyfreind and is trying to get out of it.

Yeah, but like the arguments I see is:

A)She didn't report it until 4 months after the supposed incident, mind you 3 DAYS after her boyfriend found out

B)Both admitted to having 1 beer each that night.

C)She has multiple accounts of underage drinking, and driving without a liscense (she did have her liscense at the time).

I dunno, it all sounds fishy to me but in my opinion she should be punished.

Speeding is only a misdemeanor, not a felony.

Lying is a worse crime.

I'd appeal that verdict all the way to Supreme Court if it was me.

There was a girl at my school who idoesn't go there any more, but she did almost the same thing to someone in knew in 12th grade. He is a good student and a good guy (never in any trouble), she was know by most people as a "skank", she would ditch one boyfriend and then within one hour be working on finding the next one and she was very promiscuous ect... I guess they were out in the desert at a party and the same type of thing went down that happened to svens friend. He did use protection, and a few weeks later she said she was pregnate with his kid and he knew it wasn't true. So she told him that if he paid her a given amount of money that she would get an abortion and not say anything. He said thats BS, and he said go ahead and have the kid, and that he would be happy to get blood drawn to prove it wasn't his. Well as it turned out she wasn't even pregnate, and she left our school because EVERYONE knew about it.[/b]

Anyone look at the votes lately?

It seems that one of the moto-girls voted without commenting.

(Am I a sexist or what?)

most girls are fine but there are those some that will do anything to "snag" a man. Alot of times its so they won't have to work and there "husband" will pay for them...

I think thats the worst trick in the book...
