Turns out that both the 2006 Kawasaki 250F and the 450F will come with aluminium frames

No, I doubt anyone will until perhaps June-July, and even then they're just possible changes, it'll be later than June-July till the final list is established.

The pics in Zenith's post are of the first prototypes. The Kawasaki engineers found something that greatly displeased them so they scratched the whole first protoypes and started over again.
Seems like every company is jumping on the aluminum frame bandwagon, eh?

TenEighty - I forgot where I read about it. I believe it was a combo of things and the engine being at the top of the list.

Well i know that the motors were junk, so they had to re-design them from scratch. That frame looked unstable. Its was like a twinspar but with the other type of sytle. Yamaha made theres with indentions for strength, the first kawasaki frame looks like they would flex alot. So maybe they did change it to a twinspar design.
