im not trying to be a dick here but the above pants you listed as the "punk pants" and the others on the link as "pastrana style". actually the above pants are the "rocker" line, and pastrana ones are called "punk".

yeah those are the rockers and pastranas are the punk, the pants retail for $150 and the jerseys $50.

Ugly! Terrible! What is going on here!? Is it just me or was the last good looking MX gear from the big 2 (Thor and Fox) in 2003? I hated last years Core gear (olive colors and bad matching stuff), this year doesn't seem any better. If I had to choose from some gear I'd choose Chad' Reeds signature stuff over anything.

yea I dont care much for the new Thor stuff. I'm not tryin to bash on Thor cause i wore their gear up until last year.. I have the new alloy gear now..

the new rocker gear looks great...just too bad its only available in van halen red/white/black....but if it was in other colors i would consider buying some myslef...like balck/blue/white...
NOW that the punk gear.... man that stuff sure is a bold move for thor, too much for this guy.
same deal with fox and the hainus line....but good for both of these guys for taking chances.. it sure spices up the starting line.

The rocker gear looks like 1992 all over again, when some riders were trying to be cool & wear 2 different color boots, or gloves. I don't like it.

I kinda like the Pastrana gear, but it's not something I would wear. I also like the helmets paint scheme a lot, but the big chrome fin looks out of place.

I don't mind either design too much.

But the one they're calling "Punk" is more Oingo Boingo than Suicidal Tendencies.

Maybe they should call it "New-Wave."

i came so close to buying the Punk gear but i came up short w/ money so I bought the paste colored 2005 thor core gear from a guy on ebay. I really like the rocker and punk gear. I like the be different. If I had the money i would buy 2 different colored sets of boots and wear a different color on each foot.

I Like the Core gear, mainly because the jersey has a collar. PIMP. However, For the most part I like to have a plain look, I think when you have a bold look you are expected to perform well and when you have a plain look you are seen as an average. Picture this, the only guy on the line with jeans and a flannal shirt, and he smokes everyone in the race. lol.
Here is the new helmet I got today Its a Thor SVR 5 (I found out that Thor has HJC build their helmets)

I Got some new shift gear from my mom as a gift today, Its yellow, but ill rock it.
