I was wondering like what the best diet and exercise program to loose weight. Ive been eating alot less and more healthy and for the last 4 days ive been walking 2 miles every night exept for today cuz i rode all day and that was a huge work out b/c of the heat and the track style.

i finally got my lazy self up and active so i really need some tips on what to eat and what to do to tone up and loose weight for riding.

good, sorry i have no tips for loosing weight, but if you want to lose weight(lol) you sound like youre off to a good start, just balance your workouts alot, like pushups, situps, crunches, leg lifts /w ankle weights etc so youre not just workin on your legs

I'm a habitual line stepper... just like Rick James...

Everybody,

I'm going to post an article about Diet and MX Training within the next couple of days, so check back at the site for it. It should give you a few tips on eating and possibly help you lose some weight (if you need it).

Thanks,

There is only one effective way to lose weight....
Take in less than you burn.

1 Consult your physician.
2 Keep a calorie intake and exersize diary,
3 Log everything you eat,
(http://www.calorie-count.com/calories/browse/2200.html)
4 Log evry calorie you burn. (http://www.caloriesperhour.com/index_burn.html)

There are 3500 calories in one pound of fat.

If you burn 500 calories a day more than you eat, you will lose one pound in a week.

Do not go under 1400 calories a day (net after the burn)

Ok so ive definatly changed my eating habbits. ALOT more water. No soda or sweets and anlot more fruits and veggies along w/ the meats and stuff.

But I have a question for when i go walking. I walk usually between 2-3 miles in the morning then again at night. I do it at a fast pace and if im by myself i throw in some jogging and running. Its pretty hot and humid here. Is it okay if i were a hoody when i walk in the heat so i sweat more?

wait for another response, but in my opinion I think that doing that in this heat would be asking for a heat stroke or something. Just keep doing what your doing and stay commited. good luck
