Kawi rider, I said it because I have my own riding style. I ride the bike the way I feel comfortable. I dunno when this thread turned into an attack against me not wanting help with my riding, but i think it started when I posted a picture of me, and not asking for any input.

And You wonder why I come off as an ass sometimes? if somebody request it not to be done, I would expect them to listen. It's called common courtesy.

Editor, this thread is NFG, delete it, waste of bandwidth

OK I understand Derek...sorry bud

My point was just not to get as angry with some people when they are just trying to help you. I understand that you said you didn't want any tips or criticism, but the guy was just trying to help you out, so instead of yelling at him for not reading the post, just kinda say ok thanks or somethign instead of making it a bid deal...

Oh well, a cool pic started an argument, i hate it when that stuff happens...

sorry man, i understnad u now tho...

I wasn't yelling though either, the pic is shoddy and it makes my form look off. because in fact my elbows were up, and my knees were on the bike. I still don't see how he can tell me i wasn't holding the bike with my knees, because you can't tell from a picture.

I know kawi racer, you didn't need to apologize though, nobody does haha. There was nothing wrong, I just dislike it when people don't read and do something that he/she didn't have to do. Thanks for apologizing though.

Hey Derek, what did you mean when you said that you don't ride 80's because you're not an *. Did you mean "a$$" or "gay" or something else entirely??? Whatever you meant, doesn't bother me, I just like being me.
thats cool, man. aslong as your happy. i can see how riding an 80 can be alot of fun. its just that you r gonna get some criticism because people that taking riding seriously step up to the full-size bikes when they are big enough to ride them. thats just how it usually works, as a racer. but just to ride to have fun, ya, i can see your point. aslong as u r havin fun, u shouldnt care what anyone says.

Yeah, that's how it is for me.... I aint really bothered if someone is better than me. I just seek to be the best that I can be. When I get back to racing again, there sure will be some red faces when I show up to race in the 125's with an 85, and I am sure that I will be greeted with some criticism, but like I said, I aint too bothered. I am just there to make up the numbers and have a good time.

by having ur elbows in attack position, decreases head shake, keeps u more in contorl on ur bike, also i dont know if you get blisters or hurt ur wrist alot derek and actually this goes for everyone kinda, theres a stance for ur hands called Thorrtle Regrip, if u land to far and u over shoot ur wrist wont hurt or ur wrist wont get sore from riding and it will decrese blisters alot, i learned most of this stuff from Gene Lamay
