Bionic-Evolution Knee Braces?

Has anyone heard of these braces? They claim to be superior to the rigid carbon fiber braces and use a wire/cable system. The web site is bionic-evolution.com. There is not alot of information available about these and I just recently crashed and broke my 6 year old Asterisk Cells which are too expensive to replace. Any info on these would be a great help. They are $400 for a pair, so they are less expensive, but I would like input if anyone is using these or has some experience with any other less expensive brands that get the job done. My Asterisks saved my knee, but cracked. Thanks.
