- Are you ready? The "Largest, Richest, Roughest, Toughest" series in the state of Texas kicks off December 6-7, 2008 at Freestone County Raceway.

ONLINE SIGN UP is now open for Round 1 of the 9th Annual Honda of Houston / FMF AMA Texas Winter Series. Last year the series grew again. This time by 17% and averaged 853 entries per round. With 34 different states and two countries represented in the series last year, the riders of Texas will be well challenged by the time the series ends.

After round one at Freestone National MX, the AMA sanctioned series will be followed by Swan Raceway Park (Jan 10-11, 2009), Oakhill Raceway (Jan 31-Feb 1, 2009) and wrap up at Lake Whitney MX Park (Feb 14-15).

Full factory contingency from Cobra, Honda, Kawasaki, Polini, Suzuki & Yamaha. KTM will support the series with KTM Bucks for the overall points of the series in each class if the rider is a KTM rider. The series boast over $450,000 in factory & product contingency for the four round series.

The series has become known for its toughness since riders from around the country prepare for the Texas amateur national events as well. No matter what skill level, the AMA Texas Winter Series has competition for those in 3rd or 30th place. Mini, Girls, Womens Amateur & Beginners compete on Saturdays while all Vets, A/B/C 250 & 450 classes & Womens Pro's compete on Sunday's of each round.

*$20 Weekend Pass per person payable in full upon entering Friday and Saturday. If you are not staying for Sunday's race wristband & gate receipt required for gate refund at the front gate upon leaving. You must exit Saturday to receive a refund.

2. Online Pre-Registration gives you the option to pay by Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express while online.
3. Registration (race weekend) accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express or cash only. No checks.
4. To "finalize" race entry, Pre-Entry riders (to include parent/guardian if rider is a minor) MUST check in at Registration (Scoring Tower) to sign releases.
5. All Pre-Entries customers must report in Pre-Entry line at Scoring Tower.
6. ALL RIDERS must be present at registration
7. Riders MUST bring last 4 of VIN of every bike competing on when registering.

o Golf Carts - MUST have Valid Drivers License (DL) to operate vehicle.
o Side x Side - MUST have Valid DL to operate vehicle.
o Scooter with Helmet.
o Bicycles with Helmet.
o All Permitted Pit Vehicles must be parked for the night after 10:00pm.
o Walk Bike Policy: Must walk bikes from Pit Area to Staging and Staging Area to Pits.
