we where going back today but the weather has been crappy and it looks like it will be like this for a week. You don't want to ride in rain with a cut air box.

Yo, that shit is hot. That barhop is pretty fukin tight. I'm jealous of that! But thrust those hips out there to get full extension for the cordova. you got to throw those legs back for the seatgrab! I'm not gonna talk shit, because my best trick is the seatgrab, but my fav is a double can! Mad Props Dog! I'm going for the Indian Air seatgrab this weekend! and damnnn I wish I was sponsored!!!

Thanks. The gap on the jump I was getting vid and pics on is only 43ft. I can't really extend crap. I'm getting back into the pro scene but I'm still obsolete I guess that happens when you can't do big enough jumps to throw down on for over 2 years.. Once my friend gets his tractor back we will make the landing for my ramp bigger so we can really throw down.

I's cool because Suzuki said it is ok for me to do demo's again. I'm looking forward to it. The pic on my sig is me doing a cordova.

hey that's still cool! and I still remember you from like 2-4 years ago. CRAZY! but I'm curious. how did you get sponsored? Because I was thinkin today! I'm throwin the same shit you are,(except the bar hop), and I am based in El Paso right now, and I ride in the sand dunes here! And I'm the best mofo here. Noone can touch me. I was wonderin if maybe yamaha might sponsor me. because I'm throwin it down, and I always have audiences...but and who are all of your sponsors!

I got lucky with the Suzuki thing. I'm good at putting together sponsor requests and I work with a lot of promoters so a company can get exposure even if I get hurt. I haven't been able to post all my tricks, the jumps I've been doing don't allow everything. if I tryed a dead body or seat grab indi i'd kill myself.lol. Right now Suzuki, some local shops and pimpit.com sponsor me. Sad thing is I can't wear Pimpit gear at fmx shows because it goes against what Suzuki wants. I got into fmx a LONG time ago. when it firt came out. It is a lot harder to get sponsors now for 2 reasons. 1 The sport has escelated so much it's hard to stay on top of everything. And 2 the riders (FMXers) most of them at least are not what a real company is interested in having promote them. I almost didn't get the Suzuki deal when they heard I was a pro fmxer. but they gave me a meeting and relized I wasn't like the others. the only thing I can say is put together some good pics and a reseme' and send them to company's LIKE the ones you want to sponsor you. No offence but Monster energy or DC isn't going to do much for you unless you are pro and doing a lot of stuff. If you notice my suzuki doesn't have many stickers on it .. I don't have many sponsors anymore and I feel I'm not ready to put together reseme's yet. the only thing I really have going for me is my experiance and reputation. Also don't be cocky, I thought I was the best in Fla back in 2000, and I was one of them but people didn't like hearing me talk about it. A lot of people didn't like me because of it. And when I met Hart and some of the other big names at the time they gave me a little crap for it. it humbeled me quickly....lol
Here are some old pics of me on the KTM.

thanks. I've been into fmx since it started in 95, I turned pro in 2000, but I wasn't able to practice over the greatest jumps after I got back into fmx, so untill the landing for my ramp is finished I'm stuch being kinda stale.

whoa whoa, how did you consider yourself pro?? Freestyle didn't really start until like around 1997ish. If you were doing tricks like that around 2000ish. You should be like superstar by now... Is it because you got sponsored or something?? because I'm right at your level, and I don't think I can get shit worth of sponsors

I get paid to ride by event promoters . I also ride for team suzuki. I've done shows in Aruba , Dominican Republic, Peru, Chile, Bermuda, Mexico, And all over the use. thats how I consider myself pro, The biggest thing is I pay taxes on what I make riding. I started doing tricks as soon as they came out. And not to sound cocky and I know it will be hard to believe but if I had gotten into doing demo's sooner I would have been considered a very good rider at the time. Dude it seems like you don't believe me, Post pics of you doing the tricks and I can get you into shows. The only prob we would have is if you have the same image as most fmx riders my team manager will get pissed. but i'm serious. Show me some pics and I can hook you up. You can google my name Dave or David Bonometti and stuff will come up. Also check out www.roadanddirt.com
select the slower connection , click on x friends and scroll down to KTMDAVE thats me in 01.

www.decosterskids.com is the suzuki team I ride for, www.freewebs.com/corefmx there is a link on that to the second corefmx site, and here is a link to my photo bucket acc http://s43.photobucket.com/albums/e399/Corefmx/ . here is another reason i say I'm pro... because I am.
I'm not trying to be a dick bro, but it seems like you have questioned me before, just because you can do the tricks I can do doesn't make me less of a pro, it just means you need a shot. I'm willing to help but quit stabbing at me I think there is enough info there to prove my claims.

A newb fmx rider gets about $500-$750 a show, because of how long I've been at it and the promoters know me I get at least $1000. It used to be where I didn't ride for less then $1500, but I know I'm obsolete now. But because of other things I do at the shows I still do just fine, i'm getting ready to go to Amsterdam on the 25th for 7 days.
