What do you guys recommend for the best protection of the collar bone? Chest protector, ect.

it may sound weird but your helmet is what breaks your color bone...bad thing is it doesn't take much to break it either...

a good over the shoulder chest protector will help but it wont eliminate it the only way it really reduces the chance of breaking the collar bone is use a old style helmet without the mouth guard... and use a mouth piece that attaches to the bottom of the goggles..oldschool yes , but it does work...

Protecting the collarbone (clavicle) can be done so by using a chest protector but it won't entirely stop it from happening. By looking at the mechanism of injury (how it happened), you can tell how an injury occurred. It only takes 8 lbs of pressure to break the clavicle. So when we fall straight onto the shoulder or with an outstretched hand to prevent a fall, we can see how the damage occurred. i must agree i have all protecion helmet gogles gloves chest protector and boost plus fox kit but i went out about a year ago now and had every protecion on and still went and broke my collor bone altho i havent broken it since so it doesent work a 100 percent but does help

Use a Leatt Brace or any neck collar! 80% less chance to break it!
