DONT GET THE CR125! just to let you know if you want to race your going to want a yz125 or rm125 the cr is a really bad bike it has a lot of problems and is just pretty ghetto. and for where to start just look up tracks in your state and then find some and go then you will need to buy a district card and a ama card then you will be able to race almost every one you can find. good luck!

Not for nothing he's right CR125 is a ghetto bike. what you should get is a yz125 excellent bike for what you want it for.I tested the tt-r125l and that bike was strong as hell.We were in minds & meadows in pa. and this guy from a dealership down there gave me quite a few bikes to test and I gotta say that the YZ125 & the R125l were amazing bikes.Especially if you want to start racing soon.I have a lot of other suggestions if your willing hear.

well if you are looking to do good in a race get a 250f, 125's are out of date and the technology is garbage compared to a four stroke. i would recomend a kawasaki or suzuki for any type of bike you get

I would look at getting the KTM 250 SX-f, you may spend a little more money, but it comes stop with alot of things that you would want to add to your bike, check it out, also check you local (or as local as you can) track and if they dont have a race series, they should know where one near there is. Where are you located anyway?

All the responses I have seen to this thread have been biest and not answering everything he asked. First off, I dont think anyone can tell you about what leagues are around you enless we know exactly where your from( i.e county/area). Second off, if you are 15 you should learn how to spell. Do you turn in english assignments like that? I hope not! People dont like it when people arent literate. Another tip is try using "Google" if you are not going to iv us enough information to answer your question. I am not trying to "Rag" on you but you impatiently posted this thread. Aswell as posting it in the wrong forum >.<. This belongs in The Getting started thread, not amateur racing, eh?
Thanks,
