Hi! I want to buy a motocross but I never driving one, so I want to know which motocross do I have to buy. I am 13 years old and I just want to ride in the wood and I need a small motocross because I'm 5"2 height but I grown quickly. My budget is maximum 2200$US and I don't want a used bike (new stuff only). Thanks for helping me!

Ps: Sorry for my bad english, I am Canadian French.

here are the bikes you should look at

rm85cc
yz85cc
cr85cc
kx85cc

rm100cc
kx100cc

depending on the dealership, you should be able to get them for $1900-$2500 US.

good luck!

thats the second time youve said that right?anyways, please stop
your just as bad as reglaracing or w/e,saying that 4 strokes are the best
a suzuki is no better than any other bike

anyways, theres no way you can buy a new bike with $2200...used it is
by the way,its not a motocross,its a dirtbike
motocross is the sport,a dirtbike is what they ride in the sport

2 strokes:

i would reccomend any 85 or 85 big wheel or 100
(yz85,cr85,cr 85 expert,rm100,rm85,rm85l,kx100,kx85)

their all great bikes,i didnt say the ktm, becuase they are really expensive, still good bikes though

go to the shop, and sit on all the 85,85bw,and 100's and pick one

but,the 85's and 100's would be kinda hard for you to ride, because they arent really beginner bikes

the 85's,and the 4 stroke 125's would be a little small for you though...

4 strokes:

if i were you,i would get an xr100,ttr-125l,klx125(do they make an L version?)or drz125l

^^^their all cheap,easy matience,and good for beginners
get the 4 stroke,it would be alot better for your riding style(beginner, woods, ect)

Okay thanks! And also I have 2200$ + the cash for taxes. What I have to do to maintain my bike before and after each ride? Another question: Honda is not good?

Ps: I don't want a competition bike, I want a more a off-road style like this: http://powersports.honda.com/motorcycles/off-road/model.asp?ModelName=CRF80F&ModelYear=2005&ModelId=CRF80F5&bhcp=1 (just an example and too small for me I think...)

if you dont want a race bike, then the xr100,ttr-125,ttr-125L,klx125,klx125L(do they make an L version?),drz125,drz125L

those are all low matience,4 stroke, beginner, trail bikes

and this is because...give some reasoning to why their so great?

also why are 2 strokes not for beginers, and why are 85'5 not for beginers?

their more powerful, very "jumpy" when they hit powerband,a beginner wouldnt understand how to handle somthing that powerful(usually)

also what do you mean a suzuki is to reactive?

to "jumpy" im guessing,to strong of a powerband

but anyways, the cr and yz have are more "jumpy" than the rm

cool, yeah actually the rm is pretty jumpy, but i dont mind it.also im not saying the other bikes arent good,im just a fan of the rm.the rm has great suspension,is powerful, fast, very good allaround.but the other bikes are great too.if your looking for speed go with the ktm.if it is jumps you want definently get a rm,or a cr.also kawasaki is very good aswell as yamaha.their all very good bikes, their really is no best, its whats best for you.for me an rm is best.its different for everyone.

bump up to the crf100. The 80 and 100 are the same chassis and motor, just different sized wheels and larger displacement. You'd be really happy with tha bike for a while.
