sry dont have pix yet but ill get some!
name: Martika
bday: 10/06/91 (14 yrs old)
years riding: 2 1/2
nick names: tika...martini
bio: ive had quite a turnaround of events in my life. when i was in 6th grade i was a preppy dont break my nail valley girl. i started realizing that i hated tht. i left my friends and tried new things to see what i liked. i really picked up on skateboarding and did tht for awhile. i kinda got bored with it since it didnt have enough speed. i saw my friend riding a lil xr100 and i was like ooh lemme try. i picked up on it quikly. i waited about a year before i got my first bike. until then i rode all my friends' bikes. just as i was gona start racing the mx park was closed and i found myself fighting to get it back open (which launched my first tv production). finally its re opening so i can start racing.

I have been riding some form of motorcycle since I was 11-12 y.o. . Mostly dirt, but I rode on the street for about 5 years. Quit riding street after the 3rd meeting with a car. Strictly dirt now. I used to race back in the early 90's up at Dade City Raceway, and rode Crooms in Brookesville forever. I was never real serious about racing, but I rode with a guy that was a local Pro, and got to ride with RC a lot out at Croom. RC was still on his 60's when I met him, and he could whip 90% of the people at Crooms A**. It was soooooo funny watching this little pee-wee just sling past 250's. Now I ride whenever I get the chance to, but freetime is a hard thing to find now that I own a buisness. I don't have a lot of old pics, but here is one that I like. It is of me at Croom in '91. I was on my buddy the local Pro's bike he just sold me. It was a 1989 CR125R that was full set up for Supercross. Best handling bike I have ever owned.
I now have a 2006 CR250R that I will get to ride for the first time this weekend. I have never owned a brand new bike, and I realy can't wait to ride something that hasn't been beet, and abused before I got it LOL.
I also Surf as much as I can, wich isn't much considering I live on the Gulf Coast of Florida. But East Coast trips make up for the lack of Surf on our Coast.
I also am heavily into custom mini-trucks. I have built a Chevy S-10 that was featured in th May of 2002 issue of Sport Truck Magazine.
I just got Maried in Nov. of 2005, and Honeymooned in Hawaii. Now that is a place I recomend EVERYONE goes to sometime in thier life!!! The people are like no other I have ever met. They are soooo friendly, and kind, and helpfull. They even drive friendly on the roads. Here is a pic I got of Pipeline when it was 15-18 foot waves, and NO I did not Surf those waves ( I do not have a DEATH wish LOL). I Surfed farthe down the Beach where it was a bit smaller. I didn't ( yeah right) , however, appreciate the girl laying down right in front of me as I was trying to take a pic of the waves .

Years Riding-6
Years Racing-4
History-
Grew up in a small ghetto town,ALWAYS wanted a go cart, something to ride.Built our own ghetto rigged go carts and mini bikes out of frames and engines found in the trash...always wanted more. Moved to the country, rode a bunch of quads and wanted a quad...too expensive and too big. Borrowed a friends a 91' Honda z50 for my birthday(gift). I took off on it like i have been riding for years, thats when i realized what i had.
I took my stock ttr90 and entered a supercross race at Winchester speedpark(my first time seeing a track) and placed second, following the leader the entire race. Parents said if i was going to continue race,i would need to get straight A's in school...3 terms later,i did it.Raced my first race on a BEAT UP kx60,placed well. I turned 12,age for 65's is 11...so i sold it for a Yz85.I took a "little tumble" at southwick,my first race in on it.I broke my wrist in 4 spots, and after a quick bite to eat at mcdonalds rushed to the hospital...I broke my wrist on hundreths of a millimeter from my growth plates, and it is possible that i did break the growth plate and its not showing up ...12 weeks later im back on the bike,95% movement in my wrist, turns out i didnt break my growth plate.I did recieve a fair warning though,if that wrist ever gets broken again, theres a great possibility ill never race a bike again, well, not be able to turn it more then 1/4 throttle anyways...
So,im back,with a vengence,first race back i khole and pull an 18th,then a 15th,then an 11th,get a few holeshots...
I end my 2004 season with a few top ten finishes, and some holeshots.
For 2005 i race 85B,i do pretty good there, nothin too spectaculur so far.I have gotten a few top 10's in jr.mini though. And ive been placing alot of top10's in d34.
Thats all for now really
First race back from the wrist:
Current:
wow
