Yes, THOR is the same company as Hallman.

I was not implying about any bashing of Fox.

THOR stands for Torsten Hallman Original Racewear. The why is because it was started by Torsten Hallman.

And yes, the new stuff is butt ugly.

thor is the god of thunder, and didn't they use the logo because of his wicked helmet? The owner's name means "thor's son"...so i guess the name was fitting.

I like either of thor or fox but i think it is stupid to bash on fox because people that dont ride wear it or its "poser" stuff because this world is full of posers i mean look at all of the skateboarding things like element and etnies that people wear when they dont skateboard. People are posers and atleast there posing with something like fox which has to do with motocross instead of some fruity gay thing like abercrombie

Why do you guys think todays gear is ugly? I would prefer this any day over the whites, pinks, and yellows of the early 90's.

I like Thor because i've used Fox and Answer before and did not really like them to terribly much, and i find the Thor gear to be very comfortable. Plus both of my idols wear it so it must be good.

I'd say it's marketing first. Then a combo of fit, durabilty, looks and function as well as a decent price that have gotten Thor where they are today.

Agree, and no need to call me "not hip" or oldschool, I just think it looks like crap.

guess my thor stuff looks the worst cuz i got the paste colored stuff....lol..i like it though..very different from the normal colors

In my opinion it's the best color made by thor this year. If they made a thor rocker set in blue?.. that would be sweet. But hey whatever you feel your comfortable in.

I totally agree - there should have been all colors !

I really like the black and red core gear and the cream/marroon looks ok depending on what bike you ride

I wore a Thor shirt and one of my teachers was like...do you know what Thor stands for. I am about 70% norwegian(no jokes please..haha) and so I told her it was the norwegian thunder god and then told her what it really was.
