Adam, why don't you just go to the dealership, get a radvalve, go home, take a wrench and install it yourself? That way, your mechanic won't be so "pissed" that he has to put on a RadValve.
I got lost halfway through what Steve says...he knows his stuff. If you want the most performance Steve knows how to get it.

well,hes a lil stubborn
id put it on,im sponsored by boyseen actually,but you know how when someones very certain about somthing,and they will get offeneded if you try somthing else...wel thats him.and the last thing i want to do is make him mad,considering i can get stuff from him cheaper than i can from my sponsors

Or you could suck it up and tell him its YOUR bike and YOUR going to run what is BEST for YOU. Keyword here is YOU.
