I've never ridden in the type of sand that the wick has due to the fact that I live in Southern CO anybody who has been here knows that is as hard as a rock out here. So, my ? is are four strokes easier to ride in the sand? Seems to me they would but what do I know!

Good point... Bubba's conditioning isn't up to par yet.

Great season so far! It was great to see how RC didn't make room for Bubba just as Bubba wouldn't have made room for anyone. Like when RC made the pass in moto 2 and Bubba nearly cheesed when he hit RCs back wheel in the next corner. And when RC didn't move over in moto 1 when Bubba went down. No matter how sportsman like RC is in his post race interview you know he was smiling under his helmet when Bubba went down. It looked like Bubba was used to riders just moving over and giving him room or falling over when Bubba hit them.
Sand is all about momentum and keeping your speed up in corners even if you have to rail the outside berm. Keeping it pinned longer and more often than the next guy. Sand tends to be harder to crash on at high speeds. I predict Bubba on top in the sand just because he will keep the throttle crazy wide open this next round but the 2 stroke may suck on the starts.

125: I like Alessi or Hughes. If Langston was healthy his speed and conditioning are top. I live in Apple Valley along with the Alessi's and they are used to sand up here. Alessi starts will help him, although Brown and Hughes are stronger.
250: RC is by far way to fast and in shape. I ride 2 strokes and torque in the sand is better. Reed and Windham in a dog fight for second. Bubba conditioning will show in the sand. Last track at High Point was a 2 stroke track. Not this week, 4 strokes dominate, and I am part of the 2 stroke faith. If Bubba is that fast, we will see this week. Reed is out to prove himself, he has had bad luck in both Hangtown and High Point on the starts. Reed will not move over for Bubba. I like the fact that the 250 class is not intimidated by Bubba. My top ten RC, Reed, Windham, Stewart, Ferry, Vullemin, Preston, Wey and Fonseca. Fonseca maybe higher if rides the 450. Last week he improved on his first 450 ride, watch out!

I lived 15 minutes from Lakewoods Thunder Valley Park, was a member of the SRAC for 10 yrs. and rode all those tracks in that area too! Pueblo MX Track was my first race out there in 1991!!! Pull up the Racer X website @ racerxill.com for the "Thursday Mornin Rev Up" It gives a few great shots of the Track, Sand Riding Tips and some History as well as some Hype on this weekends race. >>>>>>>>> JP

Right on! It's cool to see somebody on here who's ridden PMI. that track is one of the roughest tracks I've ever ridden. JPMX where are you racing now? Did you ever race Wildrat? That's one of my favorite tracks.
