BEFOR YOU LOOK PLEASE READ...
I changed some things on my bike and I want to know if you think the new looks looks better or worse than the old look. (remember, in real life the rims match the fenders, but for some reason the cam makes the fenders look more blue then purple)
Things I changed...
1. New tank and shroud graphics (although it is the same ones as the ones I had on before).
2. New shrouds with brighter purple to match the fenders better
3. New seat cover (old one was getting worn)
4. New swing arm stickers (old ones took a beating when I T-boned a quad)
5. New frame guards (nothing exciting here)
First the old look...
AND HERES THE NEW LOOK...
So whatcha think?

the purple look is so unique, hard to find

Joe... The rims/fenders color match perfecty in real life, for some reason the cam makes them look different colors. I dont know why?
BIFT... Thanks, I been reading alot but been too busy to respond because of the new house I just moved into. Its had me really busy lately. Did you ever get that CR running again? What does it need still?

Ha ha ha, yeah I am happy to hear that. I just hope it the truth.
At first I didnt know if I liked it. I guess maybe I been looking at the same bike the same way for 5 years and change was weird. But the more I look at it the more I think I like it.
But when I'm on it, it feels the same and thats good LoL.

BIFT....
The purple plastic was made by UFO back in the mid to late 90's. They stopped making it in like 2000. The Excel rims in purple where discontinued in like 2002. What I do is keep an eye on ebay for purple plastic and snatch it up when I see it.
I will soon be installing some new excels rims that have been anodized purple by a custom bike shop.
When I finish fire school in a year I will be purchasing either a new CR or RM 250. But my old purple RM will be put into retirement (no need in selling it, it ant worth jack!)

im absolutly love that bike, b4 and after. though after it better. those shrouds really brightened up the bike, looks great. i wish to eventually get my bike to look as good as yours. right now it has purple fenders, grips, and front number plate. the yellow side panels give an awkward, mismatched look so im trying to get rid of those asap.

Thanks man, I try my best to keep it looking decent and clean. Its a 1996 RM125, but the engine is a 1995 RM125.
It was Anthony Pocoroba's 1996 Pro AMA race bike, I dont know why he choose to use a 1995 engine on it. For the longest I thought it was a 1996 engine (they look almost the same and are almost the same) but me and steve (Moto814) figured out it was a 1995 engine the hard way.
When I trashed the cylinder I had moto814 port out a new cylinder for me... but when I ordered the new cylinder we found out the powervalves on my existing cylinder where from a 1995. Thats when I started to look into things.
Notice the little (moto814) tag on my cylinder? Thanks again steve for wonderful work!

Your bike is really coming around good. Dang, how did that purple front fender get by me on ebay with out me noticing it? LoL
Now all you need is a new back tire and white side panals and you'l be hooked up.
That bike reminds me of a 1990 RM125 I used to ride back in the day. That was one of my favorite bikes I owned because I learned so fast on it.
