SMX Racing to Host Pro/Am Supermoto Race

SMX Racing presents for the first time, Pro/Am Supermoto Racing at the Orange County Fairgrounds September 14-16. There will be Pro 450 and Pro 250 both with 100% payback. The track features two urbancross style jumps and SMX Racing’s new tabletop ramp. The jumps and ramp will be great obstacles for the beginner level rider all the way up to the pro level. This event is potentially one of the biggest Supermoto races in the USA this season. We’ve already had confirmation from numerous pro riders including Mickey Dymond, Gary Trachy, Dustin Hoffman, and Brandon Ward (son of supermoto legend Jeff Ward) to name a few. The amateur classes are shaping up to have pretty full grids also.

There will be raffles and swag from a long list of sponsors that includes SPY, ASV, FMF, Troy Lee Designs, Bell, and Factory Backing. Bridgestone and GoldenTyre will provide full tire services at track for anyone needing tires or tire service. And both GoldenTyre and Bridgestone have contingency programs setup for the race. In addition, Madjack Racing will be on site for trackside Suspension and motor service.

If you only plan to come out for one supermoto race, then this event is certainly the one. Practice is scheduled for Friday September 14 and racing will be on Saturday September 15 and Sunday September 16.
