A few years back, Justin Brayton was helping develop the JGR Yamaha YZ450F. After spending a stint over at Factory Honda, Brayton is back at JGR riding a similar, but very different YZ450F. Although there are rumors of a possible early release 2014 Yama 450, odds are the earliest we might see that ride racing will be somewhere between May and July. For now the team will be racing the tried and true JGR-developed YZ. This looks very similar to what Davi Millsaps and James Stewart raced earlier this year.
It is unknown how changed the bike will become by A1 in a few short weeks. Yet we deduce it will probably be very similar except for maybe some refined settings as the testing continues all the way up to January 5, 2013. Here is a look at the JGR bike.

The JGR YZ450F is the closest to a Factory Yamaha as you can get. It has input from both JGR and Yamaha with regard to development and trick parts.

Kite wheels and Works Showa kit fork on specially machined fork lowers.

Double map ignition on the fly and check out how quickly a rider such as Brayton can wear through a set of grips.

Specially developed shock and check out the wiring that is attached to all sorts of components on the bike. GET appears to still be helping out the team.

Yamaha-inspired, FMF-built wraparound exhaust. Rumor has it this is a similar design that might be used on the 2014 YZ450F.

Not a full billet caliper like we have seen on the Factory Hondas, but still a trick part on the JGR machine.

Trick axle, SDI axle blocks, and Light Speed carbon fiber are only a few parts that make up this ultra-expensive racer.

the Monster Energy Yamaha team has already a similar bike in the World Championship, also with the exhaust like that.

I thank that JGR will be good this year and be up front in the top five .
