GodSpeed Georges Jobe
5-Time World Motocross Champion Passes
Just heard some sad news that one of the world’s greatest motocross racers passed on after a battle with Leukemia at the age of 51. This rider was none other than five-time World Motocross Champions Georges Jobe. He was one of the most successful riders to come out of Belgium along side the likes of Roger Decoster and both Everts’ to name a few. In 1980 he won his first world title in the 250 class. Jobe was born in 1961 and passed just prior to his January 6th upcoming birthday. After his racing career he spent much time helping and training riders.
