Yes James Stewart is still often the fastest rider on the track, that is when he is in fact on the track. For over a year JS has been riding a Suzuki off and on—now he is officially on the bike full time. The ZUK RM-Z450 Factory Suzuki via Team Yoshimura is a trick philly. Stewart proved he could win over the summer, at least for a few races. At A1 he was the fastest again in practice and qualifying, that was until an unforeseen spill resulted in a twisted knee and hampered his performance during the night show. Stewart should win again and his Suzuki is his weapon of choice.

Yes, some of the parts on Factory Bikes you can buy.

Works Hubs with Stewie’s Mechanic’s name on the wheels.

Lots of trick parts in the belly of this beast – most of which they will not tell us anything about, except for the Hinson Clutch.

Yes this is the #7 rear wheel.

Yosh full Carbon and Ti exhaust – very trick and very light.

Works clamps with an extra clamp on the stem to reduce twisting and flex.

Butt grip seat.

The SFF Showa Air fork is all over the pit, yet only a few have this very trick Works unit. Rumor has it this fork has three different air chambers inside.

Quick-adjust clutch perch.

Works Showa shock – more stuff the average Joe can’t buy – or at least can’t afford.

Works axle and axle blocks – the rear wheel and axle is probably worth more than a stock RM-Z450.

Small brackets specially made for the race bikes and anodized to add to the cool factor.

Even the mud guard bolts are Works.

We started with the right side and ended the piece with the left side—hope you enjoyed the ride.
