It says a lot that about a nonperformance company in the motorcycle industry who can put their heads down and in a matter of years create a 250/Lites supercross team that is capable of winning main events. Team TLD began life with a few box vans with Jeff Ward and Jeremy McGrath racing supermoto back in 2003. With several titles and X Games Gold Medals under their belt, the team went back to its roots—motocross—and the rest is history. Today the team is full steam ahead with a 250/Lites West Coast supercross team and full-time 250 outdoor moto team. Here is a quick look at Cole Seely’s ride for 2012.

Hundreds of hours go into the development and testing for each TLD race bike. Pro Circuit helps with the development, yet most of the work is performed at the TLD race shop in Corona.

Works Dunlop tires which are not available to the public unless you are good enough to win a supercross main.

The engine covers are doctored up with special coatings and there are some trick engine components inside the head and cases the TLD crew did not wish to tell us about.
