The first race was held on December 4, 1976, and Marty Smith won on a Honda
This race marks the 59th time the gate will drop for a Monster Energy Supercross race in Anaheim
From 2001-2010, Anaheim hosted three Monster Energy Supercross races. In 2011 and 2012, Anaheim hosted two races and will now host three races in 2013
Anaheim holds the record for most Monster Energy Supercross races
· Chad Reed will be going for his seventh win in Anaheim
· James Stewart will be going for his 10th win in Anaheim

· Justin Barcia became the 56th rider to win a 450SX Class race with his Phoenix win
· Barcia became the 27th rider to win a 450SX class race on a Honda
· Barcia became the 17th rider to earn his first-ever 450SX Class win on a Honda
· Of the 55 previous 450SX Class winners, only eight times has a rider earned the first win of his career and gone on to win the following race (Bob Hannah, Marty Tripes, Donnie Hansen, Jeff Stanton, Damon Bradshaw, Jeremy McGrath, David Vuillemin, Ryan Dungey). Can Barcia join these riders as the ninth?
· In 40 seasons of 450SX Class racing, Honda has won at least one race in 32 seasons
· Barcia won his first 450SX Class race in only his second start
· Number of starts before first win: Sebastian Tortelli- 1; Damon Bradshaw- 2; Justin Barcia- 2; James Stewart- 3; Bob Hannah- 4; Dungey/Reed- 5.

· James Stewart made his 90th career 450SX start; he has never gone three consecutive starts without being in the top five. Only once has he gone three consecutive starts without getting a podium. He finished eighth and seventh, respectively, at the first two races.
· Dungey made his 51st career 450SX Class start. He kept his top-10 streak alive at 26 with an eighth-place finish
· Andrew Short has started his season with two consecutive top-10 finishes

250SX Class: Anaheim Race 2 Stats
