The Mini O's Amateur National Olympics were held this past week at Gatorback MX Park in Florida. It looked like Malcolm Stewart is getting tired of being outdone by his perfect season brother, James. Malcolm struggled in the Supercross motos at the beginning of the week, but was undefeated in the Motocross events. Probably the most ironic part of Stewarts victories was that each was done on a KX 250. Notice I left out the F? That's because Malcolm decided to race the 250b stock and the 250b mod on a 2-stroke 250. Some may consider this unfair in a class filled with 250F's, but Stewart can answer all oncoming critics with his domination in the 450 class on his 250 2-stroke, also. Malcolm raced 4 classes (2 motos a class) this weekend and obtained a total of 8 moto wins.
This is great news and living proof that your old 2-stroke can measure up to any 4-stoke. Malcolm's team consists of family and sponsors. Both of which are proven to be successful, with James Stewart. The decision to win on a 2-stoke was more than just a shot in the dark. It was experience.
