Supercross Open Class
I just heard that the 450 Supercross class will be open class. Meaning riders may choose to ride a 250F, 125,250 2-Stroke, whatever. They still can't ride a 250F bored out or something. But any bike that can legally be ridden in the lites class can also be ridden in this open class. That's great because lites riders can race the opposite coast making for some interesting matchups.

IMHO, I would like to see a true run-whactha-brung type of event, just for the fact that you would see some really wild machinery. Imagine a RPM motosports tuned YZ 125 bored and stroked to 167cc's and sporting some enzo tuned works suspension built for the factory support teams, and have the bike weighing 195 lbs wet. That would be a badass bike to see at a Supercross or Outdoor MX race, Imagine someone like JS or RC racing that thing for what it is worth against the 450's--you could call that a David and Goliath scenario. Sorry about getting so wordy, you got me too worked up, now I need a smoke and a cold shower...

ya and who knows maybe we might see some premiere races won on lites bikes.
