It seems like at first thought going out to ride is a father son kind of thing. For many of us it was and still may be, but lets not forget about the one who managed to always get the stains out of you gear, and have a healthy breakfast ready for you on race day. Mom. Thats right, there are a lot of Moms at the track supporting their son's and daughters and we should take a minute on this mothers day to remember them. Some of the mom's I think of first hand would be Kris Villopoto, Ryan's mom. She is a really nice lady and can always be found each race weekend supporting her son. Also another mom who can be seen at the track quite often is Trey Canard's mom. After losing her husband Trey's father within the last few years, she has been there for Trey and helped to keep him racing and supported him through his rookie year and East Coast Championship win. And the one "Moto Mom" who has probably had more sleepless nights and near heart attacks than most. Travis Pastrana's mom. She has supported Travis throughout the years and probably has unusually high blood pressure from having to watch her only child risk his life time and time again. These are just a few great "Moto Mom's" I thought I'd mention. Tell us about your Moto Mom and some of the great things she has done for you. Happy Mothers Day "Moto Mom's" -Cliff

My Mom hated MX. She would be so nervous that I would brake another body part, that she would spend the entire 1st moto barfing in the Port-o-Potties and threatening to divorcing my Dad if I did. Regardless, she was there. The "Italian Queen of Gloom" was there as she is today for her beloved grandson, 25 years later. She always has a wash cloth for your face, gets the gear sparkling clean and tosses her cookies at the sight of a starting gate. Quote from Mom "Unadillas Port-o-Potties are better maintained than the ones at Southwick or High Point. I don't care which track is dozed the best, the dumper tells the real story"
