Unless you have one of those cute little motojack thingy's for your SUV. Chances are if you're an MXer you've got a truck. Weather it's a stock S10 or a monster full size on 40" wheels (which helps to compensate where size really does matter). Everyone has a particular list of things they bring to the track and a particular way they get it there and back. So the huge salary I make at Motocross.com allows for me to drive a beat up Mazda extra cab derelict looking pre runner wanna be compact truck. Which to be honest I love. It will haul me my bike and all my moto goodies wherever I need to go. So what do I bring? It's a simple yet effective surplus of essentials. 1) My bike. (Obviously) 2) My gear bag. (Who would have thought?) 3) My 18 pack mini cooler. (water, gatoraid, peanutbutter and jelly sandwhich) 4) My trusty tool bag. (Thats right, "bag" it's the manly tool bag you get at Home Depot for $30 bucks which can easily be tossed in my cab when I stop at a seedy fast food restaurant on the way home from riding. And that damn bag holds everything I need to 100% completely rebuild a bike from the ground up. Even track side tire changes.) 5) My Bike stand. (When I forget it a tie down will suffice.) 6) My 10 beat up loading ramp. (What more can I say?) 7) Gas Jug. (91 octane) 8) The Motocross.com Signature EZ Up. (It's our form of marketing.) So with all of these things in tote I happily make my way to a local mx track with Lutes to make the videos you folks watch here on Motocross.com weekly. I always smash my bike as close as I can next to the bed on the driver side so I can still look at you before I cut you off on the 91 freeway as I pull out of the toll road. To the immediate right side of the bike goes the EZ Up. Then I flip my sweet Universal bike stand upside down and stuff my gas jug in it and push it up next to the cab by my front wheel. Next to that goes the tool bag. And next to it the cooler. Then the gear bag to keep the fore mentioned items locked in place. Finally I feed the ramp under the back tire pushing forward until it hits the front wheel locking it in place. I don’t know why I do it that way I just do. I have for the last 13 years and will probably never change.
