Originally introduced last year, along with the higher-end Main Pro goggle, Fox really hasn’t changed much in the way of features on their Main goggle, as it has remained much the same since being added to the Fox line. How this new Main goggle differs from its predecessors, though, are the graphics. To usher in the new product year, Fox is introducing four new colorways for all those fashion-fickle riders out there.

Just like the original Main goggle, this one is constructed from lightweight urethane that is both flexable yet strong. While a Lexan lens is designed to add superb peripheral vision with unparallel eye protection. And triple layer foam helps to soak up sweat before it drips into your eyes. The goggle also has three silicone beads on the inside of the strap to help keep it in place while pounding out motos.

Our initial test day with this goggle took place in near triple digit temperatures up in the high desert. Throughout the course of our motos, the triple layer foam definitely did its job of keeping sweat out of our eyes while remaining super comfortable. As for the optical quality, the peripheral vision is on par with nearly every other top-of-the line goggle available today, and we never had the feeling that the goggle was too restricting on our face.

We gave this goggle a 9.5, because if you’re in need of a quality goggle, and believe us, you need the best eye protection you can get when riding moto, we highly recommend going out and plunking down your hard-earned dough on this Main goggle. While it might not have all the bells and whistles of the Main Pro goggle, it still does everything great.
